Brewing Tips

Always start with the highest-quality coffee beans. At Market Street Coffee & Tea, we roast all of our 100% Arabica coffee beans right in the store to ensure the freshest possible coffee just for YOU!
Good water is essential for brewing a great cup of coffee. Water makes up 99% of a cup of coffee or tea, so even exceptional coffee beans can't compensate for poor water quality. Don't use chlorinated, distilled, hard, or base (high pH) water as it will result in poor quality beverages.
Grind your coffee just before brewing if possible, and use two tablespoons of coffee per cup.
Clean your coffee brewer and carafe of any coffee residue or oils from the previous brewing.
Never reheat your coffee. Use a thermal carafe or insulated mug if you plan on holding your hot coffee for more than 20 minutes.
Keep coffee beans at room temperature. Store any unused coffee in a cool, dry place, away from heat or sunlight, and not in the refrigerator or freezer.
